Animal Reiki
Reiki for Horses
and all other animals
I was brought up with
horses, dogs and cats and cannot imagine my life without them, currently
we have a Dalmation dog, 2 cats and 1 horse and 1 pony. I have always
loved animals and felt a great affinity with them. My knowledge of
horses is very good having been an extremely keen competitor in the
past and now enjoying the pleasures of hacking. The joys of treating
animals are immense; the trust and love they show us deserves all
the help we can give them.
Animals receive and enjoy a Reiki treatment in a very natural way.
They are by nature very accepting of the gentle warmth and vibrations
experienced during a Reiki session. Animals are very open with fewer
blocks to healing, and the sessions usually have very specific positive
results. The sessions are usually shorter in time than a person's,
depending upon the size of the animal.
Using Reiki with them can accelerate their healing process, ease pain,
improve or help to continue their quality of life.
Animals enjoy Reiki -
the extra attention and feeling of the energy draws them to the Reiki
Healer, who sends Reiki via simply patting, stroking or touching the
animal.
When treating animals, it is usually best to conduct the healing session
in surroundings that they know and feel safe in, so I am also available
to come to you, if you wish.
Since Reiki can also be sent effectively from a distance, this means
it can be used on animals that are confined at the vets, skittish
or aggressive without distressing them or risking injury to themselves
or anyone else.
The benefits
that reiki treatments can bring your animal:
-
Reiki
can provide relief from the effects of arthritis, rheumatism and
other debilitating conditions in animals
-
Reiki
can accelerate the healing of post-surgical trauma, wounds, breaks
and sprains in animals
-
Reiki
can delay the onset and progression of certain diseases in animals
-
Reiki
can energize and revitalize an older animal
-
Reiki
can soothe and calm highly-strung, hyper-active and stressed animals
-
Reiki
can help to alleviate lethargy and depression in animals
-
Reiki
is not a replacement for, but rather an adjunct to, other forms
of therapy and medication
