Life Coaching, also known as Personal Coaching, Success Coaching, is about helping people from all walks of life to achieve what they truly want for themselves and their life.
People who have had enough of letting external influences (such as people, situations, events) dictate their lives, are now turning to Life Coaches to help them take charge of their own destiny!

Life Coaching focuses on results. We will work together to
explore what it is you really want and how you can go about getting it.
Together we will remove the obstacles that are preventing you from
moving in your chosen direction. We set about identifying and
achieving goals, which in turn will bring about the changes you've been wanting
to make in your life, sometimes for years! There are always choices and I will encourage you to make the right choices for you.

Coaching predominantly focuses on what you want in your life, and so automatically eliminates what you don’t want.
The majority of therapy and counseling tends to focus on negative experiences in the past which affect the present, and will continue to cause problems for the future unless they are 'solved' but our lives are not determined by what has happened to us but by how we react to what happened.
The majority of Life Coaches would agree that whatever we choose to think
dictates our quality of life, so if we were to dwell on negative experiences, our
enjoyment of life would drastically be diminished.

‘You are the sum total of your thoughts’

Counseling usually involves the client 're-living' their often painful experiences in order to be able to analyse possible causes for their inability to move on. Although interested in identifying and discussing the reasons why someone does what they do, I also want to help you change the way you relate to your experiences, because it is how you think about that situation rather than the situation itself, that is preventing the you from moving on. Different things work for different people, and it is up to you as the individual to decide which is the best option for you.

I believe in treating every client as the unique individual that they are, helping them to build their self-confidence, self-worth and self-respect.

We are all human, and we all respond to our experiences in a unique way. We must always remember that perfection does not exist nor does failure.

We already have the tools we need to lead our dream life; we just need
someone to show us how to use them. Deep inside we all know what is right for us, but sometimes we do not listen to our own intuition and ignore our inner feelings and voices, and that means we make the wrong choices in our lives.
We are what we think! Never underestimate the power of our thoughts,
because they control our emotions and our actions. Positive thoughts make a positive attitude to life.
